The purpose of the Business Process Framework is to ensure that processes deliver the business expectations established by management.
This is achieved by developing systems and processes that enable us to execute work effectively and efficiently, to deliver results, and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Elements of BPF
BPF is based around 3 key elements:
1. Doing the right work, at the right time and in the right way will deliver the required performance.
2. If the work is planned, scheduled and properly resourced ahead of execution the desired outcome will be achieved more consistently and at lower cost .
3. A culture of engaged employees, who believe that their leaders’ behavior demonstrates positive values, will be the most productive .
BPF – Work Management & Resourcing
Work Approval: To decide what work will be completed.
Planning: To specify the requirements for safely, correctly and efficiently completing approved work.
Scheduling: To allocate resources for all approved work to be completed at the right time .
Resourcing :To deliver the requirements for every work package to be completed at the scheduled time .
Work Execution: To complete all allocated work, to specification, at the right time .

The purpose of the System for People is to ensure that the organization is appropriately designed to execute the strategy, and has the necessary capability and working relationships required to effectively and efficiently get work done in an environment of mutual trust.This is achieved by developing structures based on functional alignment and levels or work, with clearly defined roles, assigning people to those roles based on capability and establishing a set of managerial leadership practices designed to build trust in working relationships.

SP is based around 3 key principles:
• Right organisation design based on functional alignment and levels of work, with clear accountability and authority.
• Right people in the right role based on assessed capability of individuals in the talent pool.
• Right working relationships creating effective interaction between managers and subordinates, and across functions, aligned to company values.
