Committed to sustainable development generated by the mining activity, Cerro Vanguardia leads various social responsibility programs through different community management processes especially targeted at the health, education, development, sports, art and culture areas.
The creation of the Puerto San Julián Development Agency – an institution that is financially supported by Cerro Vanguardia – proves our firm determination to generate responsible development within the region, along with local authorities, the National University of Patagonia Austral, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Rural Society of Puerto San Julián.
In addition, the Company has signed an agreement with the local Municipality and Development Agency, through which the Company undertakes to finance all actions taken under the Sustainable Development Participative Plan with funds derived from profits, prioritizing those proposals oriented to productive development and quality of life.
